Puerto Ricans Protest Obama, US Imperialism and Call for Freedom of Puerto Rican Political Prisoners

One day before President Obama’s vist to Puerto Rico a group of youth occupied the 100 year old San Felipe del Morro castle, hanging giant banners calling for the freedom of Oscar Lopez Rivera, Avelino González Claudio and Noberto González Claudio who are all imprisoned for their fight for Puerto Rican independence from US colonial rule.

Protests followed the next day with banner drops, massive public protests, street theatre and political graffiti.
