It saddens those of us within Denver ABC who knew Richard Myers, a Denver IWW member, labor historian, and devout anti-capitalist rebel, to hear of his passing last night. Richard was 61. He devoted most of his adult life to championing the struggle of the rank and file worker. His research and hard work was instrumental in helping publish several books on forgotten labor struggles, including Struggle in Serene: The Columbine Coal Strike Reader
Richard Myers, ¡Presente!
Your passing will surely impact the broader Denver social movements that you were active within.
